Description: Unique renovation and retrofit of a former wood-framed horse stable-turned-parking garage into an 8-story commercial office building. The building provides 70,000 sf of commercial space, including street level retail. The conversion doubled the building’s height to 121 feet, enabling expansive floor-to-ceiling heights. This structurally complex project included the removal of every other floor, requiring extensive lateral bracing and installation of new structural systems. Renovation included comprehensive MEP upgrades and all work took place on a highly constrained site across from Chelsea Markets.
